We are looking for a colleague in the new TCG store in Bratislava!
We are opening a new store for fans of card games, collectible products, and community gaming. We want to create a place where people will not only come to shop but also to meet, play tournaments, exchange experiences, and feel like part of the community.
That’s why we are looking for someone who has a real connection to the TCG world and wants to be involved in building the new store from the ground up.
You won’t just be a “person at the cash register.” You will be part of a team that helps create the store's atmosphere, works with products, customers, the community, and tournaments. We are looking for someone who enjoys the TCG environment, knows how to communicate with people, and wants a job where their knowledge and interest truly make sense.
What you will do with us
Your job will be a combination of retail, e-shop, products, and community.
In the store, you will assist customers with product selection, work with the cash register, restock merchandise, and ensure that the store feels pleasant and organized. We want our customers to feel good whether they come to buy their first booster, a gift for a child, or a product they have been watching for a while.
Part of the job will also involve the e-shop. You will help with product listings, price checks, availability, and basic administration. This is not a job where you will be typing into the system all day, but accuracy with products and prices is important.
Gradually, you can also get involved in buying and pricing products. If you already have experience with card grading, sealed products, or tracking market prices, that’s a big plus. If you are not an expert yet but have a good foundation and a desire to learn, we can train you.
A very important part of our store will be TCG tournaments and community events. Therefore, we are looking for someone who ideally has experience organizing tournaments, whether as an organizer, judge, helper, or an active player who understands how a good tournament should function. You will help us with event preparation, player registration, communication with the community, and the smooth running of tournaments.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who loves the TCG world but also understands that a good store relies on reliability, order, and a fair approach to customers.
It’s an advantage if you are familiar with games like Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, Flesh and Blood, or Star Wars: Unlimited. You don’t need to know everything, but you should have a close connection to this world.
We will greatly appreciate it if you already have experience with tournaments. It doesn’t have to be professional experience. It’s enough if you have helped at events, played in tournaments, know the community, and understand what players expect from a good store.
At the same time, we are looking for someone who can communicate with customers in a normal, polite, and human way. In a TCG store, you will meet children, parents, collectors, players, and complete beginners. A good approach is as important to us as product knowledge.
Why work with us?
You won’t be joining an established anonymous store where shifts are just handed out and tasks are filled. You will be part of the creation of a new TCG store from the beginning.
This means you will have the opportunity to influence how the store operates, what tournaments we will hold, how we will work with the community, and how the whole place will gradually develop.
If you enjoy the TCG world, this is a job where your knowledge and interest can be genuinely useful. You won’t leave them at home as a hobby, but you will use them every day with products, customers, tournaments, and the community.
We want to create a store where players will be happy to return. Not just because of the products, but because of the atmosphere, fair approach, and people who understand.
What we offer?
We offer a job in a new TCG store in Bratislava, Ružinov, a fair approach, space to learn, and the opportunity to be part of a growing community.
The salary is 1,300 – 1,400 € gross per month depending on experience. If you already have experience organizing tournaments, are familiar with TCG products, know how to work with the community, or have experience with e-commerce or buying, we can take that into account.
A monthly bonus based on performance, independence, and contribution to the store is also possible.
Employee benefits when purchasing products, the opportunity to learn about buying, pricing, sales, e-commerce, and organizing tournaments are also included.
Our goal is not to find someone who will do everything at once without a system. We want to find someone who will gradually train, understand our processes, and naturally improve with the store.
