Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—Destined Rivals is the upcoming tenth main expansion of the Scarlet & Violet series, set to be released on May 30, 2025. This set is expected to draw from the Japanese expansions Heat Wave Arena and The Glory of Team Rocket, as well as from Marnie's Morpeko & Grimmsnarl ex Starter Sets and Steven's Beldum & Metagross ex. Destined Rivals will focus on well-known trainers and their iconic Pokémon, including:

• Cynthia’s Garchomp ex – A Fighting-type Pokémon with 330 HP, known for its strong attacks and strategic advantages.

• Ethan’s Ho-Oh ex – A significant card from the set Heat Wave Arena, which is likely to play an important role in the meta.

• Team Rocket’s Mewtwo ex – Marks the return of Team Rocket to the game and is expected to be one of the most interesting cards of the expansion.

The set will also include cards featuring well-known trainers like Marnie and Steven Stone, who will be paired with their Pokémon – Grimmsnarl ex and Metagross ex. 

Given the return of Team Rocket and the presence of popular trainer-Pokémon pairs trainer-Pokémon it is expected that Destined Rivals will be a very popular expansion among players and collectors.
